1. Description of Service

AI Expenser is an automated personal finance management tool that allows users to:

• Track transactions, income, and expenses manually, via voice commands, or automatically.
• Auto-log transactions using iOS Shortcuts (Apple Pay deep links), Android Notification Listening (Google Pay and financial app alerts), and Bank SMS parsing.
• Create budget limits, savings goals, and track recurring bills or subscription plans.

2. License Grant & Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the App on a mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial financial management.

You agree NOT to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the App.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local or international laws.

3. Account Registration & Security

• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account.
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.
• If you enable biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint lock), you are responsible for controlling who has registered biometrics on your physical device.

4. Automated Tracking, Shortcuts & Device Permissions

• Apple Pay & iOS Shortcuts: Apple Pay logging relies on user-configured iOS Shortcuts and deep links. We are not responsible for transactions missed or misrouted due to misconfigured iOS automations or operating system updates.
• Android Notification & SMS Reading: Automated Android logging relies on active Notification Listener and SMS permissions. You acknowledge that some bank formats may not be recognized or parsed accurately.
• User Duty to Verify: Automated logging is provided as a convenience. You are responsible for reviewing auto-logged transactions for accuracy.

5. Voice Input & AI Features Disclaimer

• Speech Recognition Discrepancies: Voice transcription relies on audio processing algorithms. You agree to double-check amounts and merchant names generated from voice logs.
• User Responsibility: You assume sole responsibility for all financial decisions, budgets, and commitments made using the App.

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

• Billing: App subscriptions or premium tiers are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period in your account settings.
• Refunds: All refund requests are governed by Apple's and Google's respective store policies.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Except for your user-generated financial entries, all rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including all code, designs, graphics, user interface elements, logos, and trademarks) are and will remain the exclusive property of Aly Elkashef.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Aly Elkashef, the Owner, or any developers of the App be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your access to or use of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
